HELP IN JOPLIN, MO!!!

If you are in the Houston area, and want to donate items to be taken to Joplin, MO and surrounding communities you can bring them up and Paul Ivanovsky (Tiffany from our coupon class' Husband) and his son are personally delivering them over Father’s Day weekend.
In Houston:

If you want to mail items, I suggest packing it in a medium Flat Rate Box from the Postal Service. Paul has a church in Springfield, MO working with us as a mail point, where he can then sort the items and get them out. This is where he will need YOU if you are in the area!  Please comment below if you would like to volunteer!

The Vineyard Church in Springfield is accepting donations for Paul and he will hand deliver them Father’s Day Weekend when he drives up to Joplin. This address is if you would like to share items with the people of Joplin and surrounding areas. I suggest using a Flat Rate Box from the USPS. you can fit a lot of items in the Medium box. There is no weight restriction and mail for $10.95. I fit a ton of great stuff in here and we can really make a difference.

As part of the trip Paul will be organizing a work day on Saturday June 18th and Sunday Father’s Day. If you are anywhere near there and would like to join us in helping out please keep checking this blog as well as the link to Paul's site below. I will add details on needed items and supplies as I get more information. Paul is still trying to clear a meeting point close to the affected area.

Helping the American Cancer Society!!!

Coupon Exchange Details!!! (Swap-N-Go!)

OK!  Last night was amazing!  Tiffany was so informative and taught us so much!  We are inspired to do a Coupon Exchange now!  So I would like to introduce SWAP-N-GO!!!  A quick weekly coupon exchange event!

Several ladies have decided to be a part of the Swap-N-Go coupon exchange.  Basically here are the details:

SWAP-N-GO

• Swap-N-Go will be hosted at a different person's home each week. (please let me know in the comments what day and time you are interested in.  We are already planning for next week. So everyone will have a chance to make it from time to time lets try to switch up the day and times. Some durring the day and others in the evening!  Just a thought!)
• We will all bring a snack of our own and a drink of choice so there will not be a cost involved for the hostess each time. (The whole idea is to SAVE not spend the $$$)  ;-)
• Swap-N-Go will last about an hour so it will not take up a lot of time out of the hostess' day.  (Of course it can last longer if you would like to stay and chat.)
• The day, time and address will be posted on my blog each week so everyone has a central place for the information.  (This cuts cost on invites and then the hostess does not have to worry about getting all the contact info for all the ladies each week.) 
• Hostess gets first pick of coupons!
• Kiddo's are welcome but there will not be a babysitter.  It is just a quick coupon swap!
• Anyone who does home sales (Scentsy, Stella and Dot, Pamper Chef) can bring catalogs and business cards.

So who wants to be first?  Let me know below so we can firm up a DAY TIME AND PLACE!!!  I am cutting coupons for you all now!!!  LET'S HELP EACH OTHER SAVE!!!!

Coupon Exchange...

I would love to start a Coupon Exchange of some sort... I have never been a part of one or even know how they truly work.  I know I have a lot of coupons I won't use like Similac & Enfamil and I would love to trade them for Gerber Formula Gentle if anyone has any! 

Do any of you have suggestions on how to start a good Coupon Exchange?

Tiffany Ivanovsky from TLC's Extreme Couponing will be teaching us how to maximize our savings and cut back on the time it takes to know a good deal from an ok one! This class is for everyone (INVITE YOUR FRIENDS AND YES...GUYS TOO!) who wants to save money when shopping whether it be in large quantity or small.

The class is going to be about 2 and 1/2 hours long. It will start Tuesday May 17 at 7pm! It is ok if you are a few minutes late but please try to be here as close to 7 as possible! We will have snacks and drinks! PLEASE BRING A CHAIR!

Tiffany has comprised a very helpful book that she will be giving us as well so I MUST HAVE AN RSVP SO WE CAN ENSURE YOU GET YOUR BOOK!!!! The class is $15 if you want to pre-register for the class or you can pay $20 at the door when you get here!
